The Rev. Canon David Boyd
The Rev. David E. Boyd III serves the Cathedral as the Canon for Pastoral Care. Before coming home to the Cathedral, David served for three and a half years as the Associate Rector at St. Peter’s, Rome, GA, with a focus on youth and college ministry. A Buckhead native, David graduated from The Westminster Schools before heading to Danville, Kentucky to attend Centre College, where he earned a B.A. in Religion with a minor in Art History. Following a formative year serving the people of Peoplestown at Emmaus House through the Episcopal Service Corps, he earned his M.Div. at the University of the South, where he now serves as a Trustee. David is joined by his wife Sarah, an elementary school math teacher, and their two Bichons, Teddy and Pearl.
