The Cathedral of St. Philip continues to make progress on the new Good Faith Chapel. While we work with the City of Atlanta to finalize permits, in late October and November the site will be prepared for construction, including:
- Ceremonial Groundbreaking on Sunday, November 10 at 10:10 a.m. Please join us!
- Removal and transplanting of most shrubs and bushes from Chapel site to other parts of Cathedral campus
- Burial of overhead power lines
- Removal of trees from Chapel site
The tentative start date for construction to begin is December 2. The Cathedral intends to send monthly updates throughout the construction process and periodic updates for work that may impact neighbors, i.e. we will let you know when the power lines are scheduled to be buried.
